Research Interests

My main points of interest are novel nanofiltration and ultrafiltration thin-film composite membranes, mainly focused on the pure cellulose as a thin layer and as an intermediate layer. Besides synthesizing and fabricating the membranes I also preform the membrane characterization including SEM, AFM, FT-IR, NMR, GPC, contact angle, XRD, permeability and solution rejection tests as well as streaming potential measurements.
My research is extended to the application side as well such as anti-fouling, produced water purification and food industry.
